Why you do not only trade it and make a lot of money, why you teach it?
I do trade it and have made a lot of money over the years. I trade live in front of people so they can see how its done.
I enjoy teaching people, it breaks my days up as its rather lonely in the trading world… think about sitting in a work from home office for several years without talking to anyone
The main reason is I got annoyed with all the so called trainers that are out there (at the time when I started there were very few FX coaches). Even today most of the trainers always say “You could have done this” or “You might have wanted to trade that, but it was 20 minutes ago and its too late now.” Point is most people train with hindsight after the fact. More often they leave some critical element out.
Ive always put my neck out there and shown people in real time what I’m doing when I’m doing it and why I’m doing it. So you can see the exact trade process and thought process behind each and every decision I make.
I did start out doing this for free as I do enjoy doing it… but as you might be aware there are a lot of fools out there on the public forums that ruin it for the people who are serious about learning how to trade. I wanted to provide a safe haven for those people and a small door fee keep those fools out.
I keep numbers very small
I’m not looking to ram a room full of 500-600 people, my income is from trading. So I keep my numbers very low so that I can manage to answer each and everyone’s questions or problems at the time and also spend a lot of time 1-2-1 with individuals who may require a little extra time on certain points.
For this reason I rarely promote my site in fact Ive never advertised my site anywhere.
I have some close links with one or two sites like FXStreet.com and still do some free sessions there each week.
For the same reason I rarely send out emails to what is after several years of service a rather large email list… I hate spam and the most emails Ive sent out in a month is 2 and at normally 1 every 4-6 months
I think I could find several other points to mention to you but the point is there not just one reason why I train people. I do it because I like to and several other factors contributed towards that decision and to continue training people today.
