Why you do not only trade it and make a lot of money, why you teach it?
I do trade it and have made a lot of money over the years. I trade live in front of people so they can see how its done.
I enjoy teaching people, it breaks my days up as its rather lonely in the trading world… think about sitting in a work from home office for several years without talking to anyone.
The main reason is I got annoyed with all the so called trainers that are out there (at the time when I started there were very few FX coaches). Even today most of the trainers always say “You could have done this” or “You might have wanted to trade that, but it was 20 minutes ago and its too late now.” Point is most people train with hindsight after the fact. More often they leave some critical element out.
Ive always put my neck out there and show people in real time what I’m doing, when I’m doing it and why I’m doing it. So you can see the exact trade process and thought process behind each and every decision I make.
I did start out doing this for free as I do enjoy doing it… but as you might be aware there are a lot of fools out there on the public forums that ruin it for the people who are serious about learning how to trade. I wanted to provide a safe haven for those people and a small door fee keep those fools out.
I keep numbers very small
I’m not looking to ram a room full of 500-600 people, my income is from trading. So I keep my numbers very low so that I can manage to answer each and everyone’s questions or problems at the time and also spend a lot of time 1-2-1 with individuals who may require a little extra time on certain points.
For this reason I rarely promote my site in fact Ive never advertised my site anywhere.
I have some close links with one or two sites like FXStreet.com and still do some free sessions there each week.
I think I could find several other points to mention to you but the point is there not just one reason why I train people. I do it because I like to and several other factors contributed towards that decision and to continue training people today.

What do the lines mean on your charts?
Dotted red/blue lines are highlighting trigger levels for trades.
Green dotted lines for target levels
Vertical lines either a bar of interest or a time of interest to me
Solid red lines are usually the days/weeks highs and lows (only 2 for day/week)
Thicker Solid Blue/Red/yellow lines opening price level.
Not all of these might be seen at any one time so don't freak out
There are no other lines tools or indicators to learn how to use its just simply a plain chart to trade with.
How do you work out an ATR, average true range (average high to low range)?
Insert the ATR (average True Range indicator on to a daily/weekly chart. This tool comes as standard on most charting platforms See the ATR articles in the essentials section
My ATR is different to yours/ My charts look different to yours.
All software is slightly different. You can configure your software in a multitude of different ways. ATR might be calculated slightly different which is fine. Chart configuration might be slightly different as well OR you might not be able to configure the start times and end times on your charts. This is also fine.
My charts start at 10pm Sunday night.
The best advice is to use the tools that you have available.
Do I need a specific broker or charting from you?
No. I'm not affiliated to any broker or charting provider and remain completely unbiased and independent. This is what I consider a personal preference choice. What do YOU want from your broker and charting. There are lots of things to consider. Spreads, customer service, flexibility, tax etc and I can't answer these things for you.
What software do you use?
Does it matter what charting I use, particularly if you don't like it or cant afford it? see above question. The best advice is to try several demo's to see which one YOU like and would suit YOUR requirements.
How do I ... ... ... in MT4/PRT/e-signal/other?
I don't use these charting packages or have not used them for several years and can not provide support.
Speak to your provider's customer service department this is what they are there for. Spend some time reading through the help files and tutorials. Most of your questions can be answered with a little hard work.
Spend some time learning to use the tools of your trade. It isn't just about knowing the chart patterns but the tools you will use to execute your trading plan, which is everything from using a computer, brokerage order placements, charting, Internet connections, etc.
Have you also thought about a contingency plan if your electricity or Internet drops? Do you have a back up plan.
I'm sure there are other common questions that I get asked a lot and I will be updating this page as I recall them. For now these are some of the most common questions I get asked.
