Hi

Ian's picture

I'm Ian

I've been interested in spread betting for a few years now. The appeal for me is that if I could make a living doing it I could be self employed. The other big plus, is that it can be done from anywhere in the world.

I read up on it, including a manual by Vince Stanzione. I followed predictions by Dow Stomper, American Bulls and Dow Trader.

I began when I thought I was ready. I have had some big wins, the biggest being £2.8 K. I've also had some big losses. All told, I am about £15 K down. I shudder now looking back at some of the mistakes I made.

I'm still interested, but I dont think swing trading is for me. I know day trading is said to be harder, but I'd enjoy being out of the market overnight. Its pretty stressful, especially when it goes over several days, lots can happen.

Ideally, I'd like to sit down beside a forex trader to watch and ask questions, and especially to see how he does at days end. I'd like to see the proof. I dont know if thats acceptable to Phil. But if I was impressed, Id probably join even at £60 per month, followed by £120 a month. I just need to see that it is possible to cover this expense, and of course , make some for ME too !

Hi Ian

Hi Ian and welcome to the site.

I can understand that you would need to see proof and who wouldn't when all is said and done.

What I do in the live trading room is just that I trade on the live charts detailing exactly what I'm doing and why I'm doing it as it is developing on the charts in front of an audience.

Sometimes I loose pips other times I make some pips but on the whole I'm making pips which is all that matters to me.

More importantly I'm showing how I trade on a daily basis using a rule defined method for trading price action.

If your unsure about if this site and the methods I demonstrate are useful for you take advantage of the short trial period for the website only access or keep an eye on some of the free stuff on the sites blog.  I'm currently outlining what I'm looking at first thing in the morning and doing s short round up of the days events as well.

Ultimately the choice is yours, my way is not the only way nor is the best way to trade but it is my way and it make me consistent money, not always on a daily basis but over the long term and this is how I make my living.

If you have any further questions please feel free to email me

Kind regards

Phil

hi all, my first post on

zads's picture

hi all, my first post on here although I have been lurking around for a few years. Ian, I to have lost five figure sums, just, and its not until all the funds have gone that it suddenly smacks you in the gob that you rearly don't know what you are doing. Wake up call for me. Big style..

However, I have taken serious time to read as much as I can on here, as a non paying member, and on paper I am trading the best I ever have. Try the 60 minute chart day trader method, so far it has worked exceptionally well ( september is up over 1500 pips ), its been a crazy month though which has helped shorting sterling, but it was the method that worked to start with to get things rolling. Have faith in the systems, in my opinion they work well.... Going live again next week....gulp....

Ps . I do not know, or have ever spoken to Phil, these are my own opinions, try it..reading this site has given me the courage to try again,
