Coming to the charts this morning, I still have 2 parts of my GBPUSD swing trade open from yesterday, and I am looking for new trades.
I have gone to my 4H chart to get the new trade levels, but my confusion lies in this mornings scenario.
Open long trade. Completed 4H bearish bar. Open & Close of bar <15% ATR.
Well the start of a new week has brought renewed confidence for me in my trading. Having spent last week in the LTR with Phil and the other guys, I got back on track after what was a pretty horrid start to last week. I realised around Thursday time, that I had been deviating from my trade plan without realising it, and was, for want of a better word, "freestyling" my trading. Meaning I was making it up as I went along, based on what I thought was my trading plan.
The results I got were I know now, to be expected.
The confidence the LTR gives you is hard to expain, and unless you've been in there, I don't suppose you could accept it even if I could explain. I think it's that group mentality, with everyone helping each other, or when you watch a professional sports person do their thing. They make it look that easy, and uncomplicated, that it gives you the confidence in yourself to do it.
Couple of short videos of 2 of my trades. One from last night on EURJPY and the other on EURUSD. Again I tried to use some TA here, and explain how and why I took the trades on.
Coming back to my computer now after a breather from this mornings issues, I'm thinking a bit clearer.
I'm looking at EJ at the moment as my only pair to set up a new entry signal. I've got a couple of options here that I'm looking at.
As you can probably tell from the header, this is a blog by one frustrated little man. I'm about to highlight the difference between a 3m chart and an 89 tick chart. One has cost me 150 points, the other would have had me at least 90 points in the bag by now.
This was a snatch setup from this morning on the GBPUSD.
Easter is finally over, and with it the long weekend. Fortunately I still have a few chocolate eggs to entertain me while things are very slow.
Didn't really miss much yesterday, and today has been painful so far. Only thing of interest is the announcement of the general election here in the UK, and my Thorntons chocolate egg.
